Seven more days, and Mary's cochlear implant will be activated! In the meantime, she has recovered very, VERY well - in spite of her recent stomach bug that came out of NOWHERE! Memorial day weekend was rough for us regarding that but in true "Momo" fashion, Mary just seems to bounce back stronger than usual!
Today we went to Mary's ENT and upgraded the hearing aid on her right ear! What an incredible difference! We were so blown away, watching Mary's eyes get big and excited, hearing more (what we would deem) obscure, high-pitched nuances. Needless to say, equipped with a stronger, high-tech hearing aid in one hear and a "Bionic" cochlear implant in the other - baby girl's gonna SOAR!
